Three more new Ducatis in Milan

Not satisfied to just steal the show with the V4 R Panigale, Ducati has also whipped the covers off the new Diavel, Hypermotard and Multistrada in Milan. 

Diavel receives its first major update to the 118kW Testastretta DVT 1262cc variable cam timing V-Twin as the XDiavel now with a chain drive instead of a belt drive. Add a 3-mode ride-by-wire system in Sport, Touring and Urban trim, each with its own engine mapping plus settings for traction control, wheelie control and cornering ABS in a steel trellis frame with the engine as a stressed member, Brembo brakes, 50mm damping and preload adjustable forks with a fully adjustable option and a rear shock form Öhlins. 

The Hypermotard meanwhile earns a significant update for 2019 with a revised 937cc Testastretta twin and a brand new look. 5kW up, The 85kW twin employs new hig compression pistons, a 53mm throttle body, revised exhaust cam profiles and a new exhaust, while there’s also a lighter action self-servo wet slipper clutch and a lighter shift control drum. Add a new trellis subframe for a flatter, narrower seat, more travel from a 45mm Marzocchi fork and Sachs adjustable rear monoshock aided and abetted by six-axis Bosch inertial management with cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control and  ride modes Sport, Touring an Urban ride modes.

Designed with long-range touring and outstanding comfort in mind, even when fully laden; the better equipped and 'more accessible’ Multistrada 950 now adds 1260 Multistrada design and an S version with electronic Ducati Skyhook Suspension to instantaneously adjust damping to changes in road surface, Ducati Quick Shift and new aluminium wheels, while S gets spoked wheels. Multistrada’s 85kW four-valve liquid-cooled 937 cm3 Testastretta V-Twin benefits similar advances to the Hypermotard
