All-new KTM 790 Duke breaks cover in Vegas
KTM has unveiled an all-new 2019 KTM 790 Duke at the Las Vegas AIMExpo motorcycle show. Powered by the LC8c four-valve per cylinder DOHC 799cc parallel twin with twin balancer shafts, ride-by-wire and a 42mm DKK Dell’Orto throttle body fuel injection, a power slipper clutch and an oil cooling liquid heat exchanger, Duke gets a lightweight tubular Chromium Molybdenum steel frame chassis with a cast aluminium subframe. A 43mm open-cartridge WP front fork with steering damper and an adjustable wide, tapered aluminium handlebar; and preload adjustable progressive-sprung gas-assisted WP rear shock with a die-cast, open-lattice swingarm while wheels are cast from aluminium. Styling is pure KTM with sharp, aggressive lines throughout the bike - should be here soon, too. Stay tuned!
