Lexus’ flagship has long been a luxury idol — the big limo was indeed where it all started tor Toyota’s superior brand and now three decades down the line, it has benefited a significant shot in the arm — enter the all-new LS F Sport — a car that adds a whole lot of extra emotion through sharper handling and a performance persona second to none…

The jewel in LS F Sport’s crown has to be its all-new long stroke 310kW 600Nm 3.5-litre biturbo V6 strong enough to propel the significant machine to 100km/h in just 5 seconds and on to an electronically governed 250km/h, to the tune of a sportier yet still so refined exhaust note. The V6 turns a 10-speed paddle shift automatic with torque converter lock-up, closely-spaced ratios and an optimal gear for any conditions to also deliver 9.5 litres per 100 kilometres.

F Sport is further equipped with larger 6-piston calliper front and 4 piston rear brakes, a Variable Gear Ratio Steering and sport-tuned air suspension with rapid-height function to ensure it responds more like a sports coupe. Also featuring latest generation Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management, the system implements co-operative control on all systems from braking to steering, powertrain and suspension through Normal, Eco, Sport and Sport S+ drive modes, while a new, much advanced Adaptive Variable Suspension adds continuous damping control in S+ mode.

The all-new 2019 LS already offers the most dynamic driving experience in the model’s history; now it has been even further honed in F Sport to deliver a more engaging driving spirit through fine chassis tuning, while still delivering on that expected exceptional comfort all wrapped up in bespoke Takumi crafted F Sport styling.

The new grille for example, took five months to perfect by adjusting 7 100 individual surfaces to best accentuate that F Sport look, while the speedometer and tachometer is a movable meter with sliding to display information inspired by the Lexus LFA supercar to deliver a uniquely a driver-focused cockpit.

F Sport boasts a Pre-Crash System with Pedestrian Detection; High-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert with Lane Keep Assist, Steering Control and Steering Vibration, ten airbags and collisions sensing seats, as well as Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Sport Monitor and LED Adaptive High-beam System.
